Terms & Conditions
1. 15-Day Mandatory Waiting Period: All KOSPET CARE and KOSPET SHIELD plans are subject to a 15-day waiting period starting from the date of purchase. Coverage for Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH) and all exclusive membership benefits are activated on the 16th day. Any hardware damage or incidents occurring within this period are strictly excluded from coverage.
2. Personal Use & Membership Eligibility: KOSPET SHIELD is a non-transferable, personal membership tied exclusively to the original account holder. Benefits, including accidental replacements and theft protection, apply only to devices purchased and owned by the account holder for personal use. Commercial use, account sharing, or exercising benefits on behalf of third parties is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of membership without a refund.
3. Coverage Window & Continuity: During an active membership term, eligible KOSPET smartwatches purchased from kospet.com within the last 24 months are covered by a 24-month Protection Window starting from each device’s respective shipment date.
· Continuity Clause: Extended protection is strictly contingent upon an active SHIELD membership. Should the membership expire or be terminated, all protected devices will immediately revert to the Standard 1-Year Limited Warranty based on their original purchase dates.
4. Accidental Damage from Handling (ADH): ADH coverage is limited to functional impairment (e.g., cracked displays, sensor malfunctions, or structural casing failures) caused by unintentional drops, liquid contact, or collisions. Cosmetic damage—including superficial scratches, minor dents, or paint peeling that does not impede the primary functionality of the watch—is expressly excluded from this plan.
5. No-Return Replacement Protocol: To qualify for a replacement without returning the damaged unit, the member must provide a continuous, unedited verification video clearly displaying: (i) the physical damage or functional failure; and (ii) the unique Serial Number (SN) of the device. KOSPET reserves the right to deny claims if the SN is obscured, altered, or does not match the account's purchase history.
6. Theft & Loss Protection: Exclusive to SHIELD members, Theft & Loss coverage requires a 30-day waiting period post-enrollment. Claims must be filed within 15 days of the incident with an official Police Report or Case Number. Verified claims allow for a one-time replacement of the same model at 50% of the MSRP. This benefit is limited to one claim per 12-month period.
7. Service Fees & Replacement Condition: All ADH replacement claims are subject to a service fee of 40% of the official Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) at the time of the claim.
8. Refund & Termination: SHIELD memberships are non-refundable once any membership gift has been fulfilled or any service benefits have been exercised. KOSPET reserves the right to modify service fees or terms with 30 days' prior notice. If a member does not agree to the modified terms, they may cancel for a pro-rata refund of the remaining term, provided no claims have been fulfilled.
9. General Provisions: These plans are supplemental to, and do not replace, the standard manufacturer warranty or rights provided under local consumer law. KOSPET reserves the final right of interpretation for all service protocols to prevent fraudulent claims.
