Mindful Breathing Exercise with KOSPET

Whether you seek to reduce stress, raise awareness, or enhance mental sharpness to better perform at work or prepare for sleep, practising a soothing breathing exercise on your KOSPET smartwatch can help to do the trick!

The built-in feature of Breathing Exercise serves to improve your breathing techniques, contributing to lowered blood pressure and heart rate, increased physical energy, strengthened feelings of calm and wellbeing, and beyond.

Before you begin a breathing exercise on your KOSPET smartwatch such as KOSPET TANK S1, you can preset the duration (from1 to 9 minute) and breathing tempo (fast, moderate or slow). Then tap to start a breathing session, during which try to stay still  as much as possible while concentrating on your breathe. In addition, inhale slowly as the animation grows, and exhale as it shrinks.

Once the exercise is complete, KOPSET TANK S1 will display the duration, your average heart rate during the session – the frequency of the heartbeat measured by the number of contractions of the heart per minute (beats per minute, or bpm).

The normal resting heart rate for adults ranges from 60 to 100 bpm. Tachycardia is a high heart rate, defined as above 100 bpm at rest, while bradycardia refers to a low heart rate, defined as below 60 bpm at rest.

If you feel awkward practicing the exercise at first, don’t give up. As you get used to the pattern and have a better control of your breathing, you are likely to reap more and more benefits. After all, the feature of Breathing Exercise on KOSPET smartwatches aims to encourage you to set aside a few minutes a day to focus, center and connect as you breathe.

Furthermore, like the majority of exercises, it does take practice. But unlike many exercises, it doesn’t require any professional equipment or courses other than a tranquil place... and perhaps a pillow.
